Urban Forestry Project

Join us on this Exciting Journey

Welcome to the CSUN Urban Forestry Hub!  Funded by a grant from the USDA Forest Service, we are dedicated to building a greener future by providing students and community members with the skills and knowledge needed for impactful careers in environmental conservation and urban forestry. Through our academic workshops and workforce development programs, participants gain hands-on experience in sustainable land management, tree care, and environmental restoration.

In collaboration with our partners—the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians (FTBMI) and the Tataviam Land Conservancy (TLC)—we are shaping the next generation of leaders committed to creating a sustainable and resilient future for Los Angeles and beyond.
