On Tuesday, April 15 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the LATC Strauss Clubhouse CSUN Act Now is hosting an event titled; "Democracy Workshop - Seeing is not Believing: Outsmarting AI-Driven Political Misinformation". This event will be hosted by Yi Ding, head of CSUN Act Now. Attendees will learn strategies to navigate the new paradigm of political discussion and misinformation, specifically with regard to misinformation created and driven by AI. Please come learn at this incredible event hosted by a true expert in outreach!

From February 12th through February 21st, the CSUN Food Pantry in collaboration with CSUN Act Now is having a Food & Supply Drive for canned food, packaged dried food, other non-perishable foods, and hygiene products. Food & Supplies can be donated at the CSUN Food Pantry Bin in the Library Lobby. If you are able, then please donate to help our community during this Valentine's season!

Ballot Bowl
The Ballot Bowl is an initiative put on by the Secretary of State Shirley N Weber where all of the CSU’s and other California universities participate in a friendly competition to see who can get the most students to register to vote. The number of students who register to vote is counted by students using the special link provided to them for registering, and them indicating that they attend CSUN. The purpose is to encourage as many eligible students to vote as possible by turning it into a fun competition between the CSU’s. Students will be asked to designate their college system and campus during the registration process. The selection is made on page 3 of the application process (Additional Information/Consent - Voter Registration Application). During all of our Act Now events, and especially the ones dealing specifically with the election, we encourage students to vote using the Ballot Bowl link and indicate during registration that they attend CSUN!
All In to Vote
Take the Pledge!
Accountability is the key. Make a plan to vote and stick to it.
By making this pledge, you promise to vote on Election day. Studies show that you're more likely to complete an action if you've already made a commitment to it. That's why All In built this pledge - as a way for you (and your friends and family!) to maintain accountability when it comes to voting. Not only does voting help your community, but pledging to vote helps CSUN too!
