TRIO is a set of eight federally funded college opportunity programs that motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuit of a college degree. CSUN sponsors two of these programs, Educational Talent Search (ETS) and Upward Bound. The ETS (grades 6-12) and Upward Bound (grades 9-12) programs at CSUN assist students in completing high school and pursuing a college degree. Our mission is to equip first generation or low-income families with up-to-date postsecondary and financial aid opportunities and enable students to attend the college or university of their choice.
