Advisement
All majors in Urban Studies and Planning are required to make an advising appointment each semester prior to enrolling in the classes for the next semester.
Advising holds are placed on all majors each semester and majors must meet with a departmental advisor to clear the advisement hold. These advising sessions are intended to assist our majors in successfully navigating the requirements for the major and to move to graduation as soon as possible.
The department advisor is responsible for processing all Graduation Checks, Course Substitutions, Change of Major and Declaration of Specialization forms, as well as clearing all registration advisement holds.”
To schedule an advisement appointment please call our office at 818-677-2904, email urban.studies@csun.edu or visit Sierra Hall 220.
