Student Services Center and EOP Satellite
The Student Services Center/EOP (SSC/EOP) for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is an academic support program that offers programs which enhance students' educational experiences, foster student development and promote academic success. The SSC/EOP serves majors in: Africana Studies, Anthropology, Criminology and Justice Studies, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology Sociology, and Urban Studies & Planning.
The SSC/EOP also provides additional services for majors in the College who are part of the Educational Opportunity Program. (EOP)

Our advisors are working remotely and available to assist students through phone or zoom advisement. To schedule an appointment, please email: appointmentrequest@csun.edu or call 818-677-2658 and leave a message.
- Make sure to include your name, ID number, and days and times of the week that you are available. Please make sure to include a call back number.
- Someone from our office will contact you to schedule your appointment. Additionally, if you have general questions you can also use the same email.
Advising within the Criminology and Justice Studies department offers personal one-on-one advising sessions with the Department Chair Dr. Vickie Jensen. Dr. Jensen's email is vickie.jensen@csun,edu.
- " Dr. Jensen is not an academic advisor, however, she is proficient in advising students within the major if they are having any difficulties with classes or needs a mentor to speak too.*
