While suffering from Stage 4 terminal cancer Professor Vivian Bearing has nothing to do but examine her life. As she undergoes experimental treatment she fights to stay in control by applying the same rational and calculated thinking that has guided her career. Soon she will realize that no amount of wit will see her through treatment. Vivian must find what makes life worth living!
