Classes
The CCE Minor consists of 18 units. All students must take CCE 200: Introduction to Civic and Community Engagement, and CCE 490: Capstone Seminar in Civic and Community Engagement.
In addition to the two core courses, students are required to complete a concentration that consists of 12 units focused on a particular theme or discipline. Of those 12 units, 3 units must be classified as community service or fieldwork.
Students may create their own concentration in consultation with the CCE Director. Or students may select classes from one of the already established concentrations: Global Studies, Principles of Sustainability, Social Justice, Health and Wellness, or Environmental Justice.
