Community Navigator Program Information

Our Community Navigators assist families of individuals who are eligible for North Los Angeles County Regional Center services.

The goals of the Community Navigator program are:

  • To increase access to regional center services.
  • To increase access to regional center services.

We can help with:

Regional Center Services:

  • Applying for North Los Angeles County Regional Center
  • Identifying and requesting services

Generic Services:

  • Identifying and requesting services, and applying for services, such as: 
    • Identifying and requesting services
    • SSI
    • IHSS
    • Cal-Fresh
    • Medi-Cal

Unfortunately, we cannot:

  • Attend meetings with families.
  • Handle appeals. We can refer you to other agencies who can help.

How we will help you:

Online Intake Form: Please leave your name, phone number, the city where you live, and what services you need help with.

2. Intake: A navigator will contact you in about 3 business days for an intake. They’ll get more information about your family’s needs and set up a time to meet virtually or in-person in the community. You’ll also complete a pre-survey. Be sure to check messages so you don’t miss our call.

3. Assistance appointments: A navigator will help you with your application and answer any questions you have. More than one appointment may be needed.

4. Follow up: Your navigator will follow up with you to check the progress of your application and identify any other needed resources.

5. Completing the program: When you have met your goal, you’ll be asked to complete a post-survey. You can contact us with any questions in the future.
