Welcome to the Senior Page
As a senior, you are getting closer to the finish line. You may apply for graduation once you have completed 90 units (including work-in-progress) or approximately one year prior to your planned graduation date. At least one semester of work must be completed in residence at Cal State Northridge before our office can complete a graduation evaluation. Your application for the Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma initiates the graduation process, participation in Commencement, and receipt of your diploma.
Students submit their online graduation application through their portal to declare intended graduation date. Visit the Undergraduate Degree Services website or meet with an advisor for more information." Please link the Undergraduate Degree Services webpage:
Admissions & Records graduation application deadline information can be found on the Bachlor's Degree Application and Document Deadlines page.
Once your graduation application is approved by your Nazarian College Upper Division Mentor, it must be submitted to Admissions & Records, Undergraduate Degree Services within 30 days.
Applying after the filing period deadline may delay receipt of your graduation evaluation and your graduating senior status priority registration appointment time. Commencement participation could be affected. A late fee will be assessed for late applications.
*IMPORTANT NOTES:
The Undergraduate Degree Services is the only office on campus that is authorized to clear students for graduation.
For information about the commencement ceremony, you may visit Commencement and Honors Convocation website.
