  • Description: California State University, Northridge - Women in Science (CSUN WiS) is intended to be an encouraging environment to help university women (undergraduate, graduate, staff, and faculty) think about and face challenges in their academic and career development. We hold regular lunches with female faculty, short skill-development workshops, lecture series, outreach events, discussions, and large events every semester.

  • Description: We are a club that does missionary work both domestically and globally.
  • Event we'll host this Fall: We are getting ready for next summer missionary trip. This means training in culture/religious sensitivity and fundraising.

  • Description: Peer Health Exchange is a national organization that gives educational workshops to high school freshmen. These presentations vary in different health topics including: mental health, sexual health, alcohol use and decision making. PHE is a great way to gain experience in outreach and education as well as serve as a university role model.
  • Event we'll host this Fall: One event we're planning for the fall is an bonding night. By having bonding nights, we hope educators gain a sense of community and friendships in the organization which can create an effective support system.
