Student Evaluations of Faculty
Student Evaluations of Faculty (SEFs) are one of the ways in which teaching effectiveness is measured at CSUN. The Office of Institutional Research administers the SEF, including the survey to students and distribution of summary reports, guided by the policies outlined in Sections 600 and 700. If you have questions about the SEF process or timeline, including questions about CoursEval, the platform used to distribute and collect SEF data, please contact the Office of Institutional Research (x3277). If you have questions about SEF policies, including questions about how these data are used in the faculty review process, please contact the Office of Faculty Affairs (x2962).
