Donate Today

Your generosity can transform lives through Project Rebound at CSUN. When formerly incarcerated individuals access higher education, they dramatically reduce their chances of returning to prison. However, our scholars often face critical barriers on their academic journey - from securing stable housing to accessing daily transportation.
Every dollar you give creates immediate impact:

  • Provides essential meals and housing support
  • Ensures reliable transportation to classes
  • Opens doors to vital academic opportunities
  • Maintains an emergency fund for urgent student needs

Join us in building a stronger community of scholars. Your donation does more than fund basic needs - it empowers determined students to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Make your transformative gift today and help write the next chapter of success for Project Rebound scholars.

About Revolutionary Scholars

Revolutionary Scholars was co-founded by Lily Gonzalez and Johnny Czifra in 2015 in hopes of creating a pathway for formerly incarcerated and systems impacted individuals into higher education. As a student initiative, we are building a prison-to-school pipeline through recruitment, retention, and advocacy. Our success will directly challenge the stigmas associated with people with histories of incarceration. Through our work, we support currently incarcerated individuals and formerly incarcerated and systems impacted students to achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. We are grounded in an abolitionist vision that understands carcerality as oppressive and we dedicate our work to fight against all forms of subjugation.
