TRENDS

TRENDS is a non-profit, student-run organization at California State University, Northridge, established by undergraduate students and faculty in 1978. For over forty years, TRENDS has involved students, faculty, and the surrounding communities on campus to educate and promote interests in topics within the fashion industry. We aim to assist students in developing valuable leadership skills, fostering innovation, and expanding their creativity by featuring informative presentations created by industry professionals.
We strive to provide our members with as many opportunities as possible in order to enhance their professional and personal development in the fashion industry. TRENDS hosts two major events per academic year, the Annual Career Symposium in the Fall and the Annual Fashion Show in the Spring. The Annual Career Symposium allows students to get priceless information by meeting and connecting with industry professionals. The Annual Fashion Show showcases the collections of the senior design students as well as the emerging designers.
