CSUN/Caltech-IQIM Partnership for Quantum Matter and Quantum Information

Welcome to the CSUN/Caltech-IQIM Partnership

The CSUN/Caltech-IQIM Partnership for Quantum Matter and Quantum Information is supported by the National Science Foundation under the program Partnerships for Research and Education in Physics or PREP. It is designed to enable and grow partnerships between minority-serving institutions and Division-supported Physics Frontiers Centers or eligible centers and institutes to increase the participation of members of traditionally underserved and underrepresented groups in physics through excellent research and education endeavors that advance physics research goals.

The goals of this PREP, the CSUN/Caltech-IQIM Partnership, are to

  1. foster multidisciplinary and innovative research in quantum matter and quantum information science;
  2. educate and train students in cutting-edge quantum research;
  3. increase recruitment, retention, and degree attainment by members of groups underrepresented in research;
  4. stimulate and develop strong industrial-university-national laboratory partnerships.
