CSUN Commencement Parking
Please plan to arrive early as traffic and parking tend to be heavy. Be aware that other routes onto the CSUN campus may be closed due to the volume of traffic expected.
All ceremonies will take place on the University Library Lawn. A full campus map can be found by clicking here.
Parking can be found on the East and West sides of the campus including:
East Campus Parking Lots and Structures: G3, G4, F5, and G6.
Consider entering from Zelzah Ave.
West Campus Parking Lots and Structures : B1, B2, B3, and B5.
Consider entering at Nordhoff St. and Darby Ave. (one block east of Reseda Blvd.) and follow the signs to the closest available parking.
Parking for persons with disabilities will be available in all lots and structures. The B4 visitor lot will also be available. A current state issued "Disabled Person Parking Placard" or "Disabled Person/Veteran" license plate, issued to an occupant of the vehicle, will be required.
Warning: Please note that although parking permits will not be enforced, all other violations, e.q. red zone, blocking, etc., will be enforced.
Driving Directions
Please use the following directions to California State University, Northridge when arriving for the commencement ceremonies. Be aware that other routes onto the CSUN campus may be closed due to the volume of traffic expected.
Exit CA 118 west at Reseda Blvd. Turn Right on to Rinaldi St. and right on to Reseda Blvd.
Travel 2.5 miles south to Plummer St.,(Prairie St. or Vincennes St.) and turn left, following the signs to “Graduation Parking.”
Exit CA 118 east at Reseda Blvd. and turn right.
Travel 2.5 miles south to Nordhoff St., Plummer St., Vincennes St., or Prairie St. -- look for "Graduation Parking" signs and follow directions from there.
Exit Interstate 405 at Nordhoff St. and turn right.
Travel 3.5 miles west to Zelzah Ave. or Darby Ave. and turn right, following the signs to “Graduation Parking.”
Exit Interstate 405 at Nordhoff St. and turn left.
Travel 3.5 miles west to Zelzah Ave. or Darby Ave. and turn right, following the signs to “Graduation Parking.”
Take U.S. Highway 101 to Interstate 405 northbound.
Exit Interstate 405 at Nordhoff St. and turn left.
Travel 3.5 miles west to Zelzah Ave. or Darby Ave. and turn right, following the signs to “Graduation Parking.”
Exit U.S. Highway 101 at Reseda Blvd. and turn left.
Travel 4.6 miles north to Prairie St and turn right, following the signs to “Graduation Parking.”
