Platonov: An Unfinished Party

October 7-10, 2026

Text by Richard Alger | Directed and Choreographed by Tina Kronis

Platonov: An Unfinished Party, adapted by Theatre Movement Bazaar from Chekhov’s unfinished play, reimagines the classic story in 1960s America at the height of Cold War tension. Over the course of one chaotic evening, a gathering of friends unravels into a sharp, stylized exploration of love, regret, and social upheaval. Blending movement, music, and theatricality, this dynamic new work captures a world on the brink of change.
