Leadership Series Schedule:
- September 30th: Conflict Resolution– Our discussion will be focused on sharing practical tools to navigate conflict related situations, strengthen connections, and foster a collaborative and supportive campus culture.

- October 7th: Identifying Your Transferable Skills- This workshop will help student leaders understand, identify, and showcase transferable skills—abilities gained through leadership roles, work, education, and life experiences. Students will learn why these skills matter for career growth, how to align them with job descriptions, and how to highlight them in resumes, cover letters, and interviews.

- October 14th: Building Inclusive & Diverse Organizations- During this session, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their identities and how these identities shape their engagement with their community. Through reflection, small group discussion, and activities, participants will consider how their identities may impact how they build a diverse and inclusive organization. They'll discover potential barriers, blind spots, and benefits their identities provide and problem-solve how they can overcome barriers and blind spots to support all student organization members.

- November 4th: Time Management- College life can feel like a constant balancing act—classes, assignments, jobs, and social commitments all competing for your attention. This interactive workshop will give you practical tools and strategies to be successful with your time management. You’ll learn how to build habits that increase focus and productivity.

Make-Up Sessions
To be eligible to participate in the Spring 2026 Meet the Clubs and/or the Spring 2026 Meet the Greeks if you did not attend the 2025 Fall Leadership Conference, the organization must attend two (2) make-up leadership series workshops, hosted by the Matador Involvement Center.
At least one (1) currently enrolled CSUN student must attend at least two (2) leadership workshops on behalf of the organization to complete the make-up requirement.
- The same student DOES NOT have to attend both workshops. Different students can attend each workshop on behalf of the student organization.
- Students in attendance can only represent one (1) student organization per workshop.
- Students must stay the entire duration of the workshop. Arriving late or leaving early will not count as attendance.
- All organizations interested in participating in Spring 2026 Meet the Clubs and/or Spring 2026 Meet the Greeks must fulfill this requirement.
