Academic Year Opportunities
EMBARC x TSP Basic Needs Grant Application
The Basic Needs Grant was created to support community college students who are facing financial challenges that make it harder to focus on courses, transfer, and exploring student engagement opportunities like research. This one-time grant of $250 is brought to you through a partnership between the Educational Modules to Broaden Academic Research Cultures (EMBARC) and Transfer Success Pathway (TSP) programs, CSUN initiatives here to help you stay on track and succeed in your academic journey.
The EMBARC program, supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is designed to support students from all backgrounds and majors who are interested in exploring health-related topics in their communities and through research.
The TSP program, led by CSUN’s Office of Student Outreach and Recruitment (SOAR), is here to support transfer students in making a successful and smooth transition to university life. To learn more about the TSP Program, click here.
