Faculty Mentoring Program

The Faculty Mentoring Program supports CSUN students who are preparing for or applying to graduate school and do not already have a faculty mentor through another CSUN program.

Participants are paired with a CSUN faculty mentor who provides guidance, encouragement, and resources throughout the graduate application process. Mentor matching typically takes about one month, after which participants will receive an email with next steps.

Please review the following requirements carefully before completing your application:

  • Students will be accepted on a rolling basis, depending on funding availability, to ensure continued support.
  • You must acknowledge and commit to all program requirements.
  • You must confirm that you are not currently enrolled in a program that provides a faculty mentor to support you through the graduate school application process.

This opportunity is open to any CSUN student who plans to apply or is currently applying to a graduate program; especially juniors, seniors, and first- or second-year graduate students.
