Road Map to Exporting
Interested in taking your business ideas global? The RoadMap to Exporting Program gives CSUN students the chance to dive into the world of international trade. In Spring 2025, 22 undergrad and grad students were selected through a competitive application process to join this four-week, Saturday morning workshop series—run in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the District Export Council of Southern California.
Led by experienced export professionals, the program is all about hands-on learning. Students work in teams to explore real-world topics like market research, export regulations, and global business strategies. The experience wraps up with each team presenting a full exporting plan to industry experts. The top-performing team earns a Nazarian College Certificate of Excellence, and every participant receives a joint Certificate of Completion from the Department of Commerce and the District Export Council.
Whether you’re thinking about launching your own startup or just want to understand how global business works, RoadMap to Exporting is a powerful way to gain skills that set you apart.
